What lens is glued to you Pentax? and I' m bummed

For usual work it's DA*16-50. For tele I used DA*50-135 till now. Because I received my DA*60-250 two days ago, it may be my first all arround lens from now on in the day and 50-135 for the night.

80% Tamron 18-250 (got it when the pentax was not available yet), once in a while for portability the DA 40mm pancake and at home the 31ltd

The K 24mm/2.8 sees much use - I like it a lot. Compact. Great versatile focal length on APS-C.

Or the king of my Takumar collection - the S-M-C 85mm/F1.8 when I want something longer.

And recently the DA* 50-135, which I only have had for four months now. Great lens. Love it.

Lately I seem to use my Pentax 18-250mm the most. It's compact, light and pretty sharp. Also, I like the use this lens with my K100D super....it' makes a very nice package to carry around and besides,
who said the 6MP is a bad deal?...
Not me that's for sure! I 'm with you on both lens (Tamrom version) and body.

The only time the 18-250 is off is when I'm shooting with the Kiron 105mm f2.8 macro.

At the moment it's the kit lens for my *istD and the M 35/2.8 for my K1000.

Cheers,

All I want is a digital back for my trusty K1000 . . .

... for around 80%, DA*60-250 for 18%, FA50 macro for 2%.

Sold my other lenses (mainly primes) as I hardly ever used them, but miss an ultra wide at times, but the recent pricing of the DA12-24 prohibits purchase and the cheaper alternatives, Siggy (I've had 2) and the Tammy don't appeal, but I admit I haven't tried a Tamron as yet, but the tests don't inspire. :(
What about a DA 10-17mm? It's like two in one, a super-wide and a fisheye.

the DA*200mm lens followed closely by the Sigma 105mm EX DG Macro followed by the DA35mm Macro Limited!

Pentax Primes: DA21/3.2, F28/2.8, FA43/1.9, FA77/1.8, F135/2.8
Sigma Zooms: Sigma 10-20, Sigma 100-300 F4

'Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming... 'Wow! What a ride!'

The lens I use most is the Sigma AF 24mm F2.8. Second place is the FA 43mm Limited.

I've been feeling lazy lately and using the Sigma 18-125 more lately, mostly at the wide end. What I really want is the Pentax 12-24, but I don't like the price increase, and may get the Sigma 10-20 instead.

The 16-50 is the best all-purpose lens that I have ever owned--at least for my purposes. It has supplanted the 16-45 and the 17-70 and stays on my K10D almost all of the time. Occasionally, I will use the 31 Ltd for speed and the 77 Ltd for reach.

Before getting a digital SLR, I shot with a Contax film rangefinder and used prime lenses exclusively. I came to appreciate their small size and superb optics, but I also grew tired of having to change lenses frequently. It is for this reason that I appreciate having a fine zoom such as the 16-50. I hope to pick up a 50-135 someday, so that I can cover virtually all of my shooting needs with two lenses.

I'm a butterfly and dragonfly chaser so I've put my K20D with that lens on a monopod.

DA* 50-135 close second

The DA* 16-50 is on most of the time. However lately I've been shooting a lot of volleyball, switching back and forth between the DA* 50-135, and the sigma 70-200/f2.8 hsm.

I still like my little fa35/f2 as an indoor party lens
