Having owned the S30 (still) S50,S70 and wanting the S90.....I bought a used S80
for $160
I needed a pocketable P&s camera,since giving my girlfriend my TZ5
Needed 28mm ,on the wide end.
some complained about the mode dial,moving to easily...but i found it's hard to move,compared to the TZ5....the S80 dial is WAY stiffer,IMHO.
the control wheel is useful,but moves too freely,IMHO.
this should hold me off,buying the S90...till next summer
For more serious shooting...i'll bring out the LX3...otherwise,this S80 goes where I go

camera is in mint condition,except for the anti glare,which is mostly worn off
OEM LCD screens are only $29.99 ...and install in 10 minutes,or less...so ...in the future,I might replace it
DPReview gave an excellent review ,on this camera...saying it's IQ it's 'Smooth and detailed' ..so far,it seems about right.
