S90 and G11 available for Preoder Already

I got this in an email from Amazon.com yesterday.

where are you seeing the pre-order on s90? When I use the link provided I only see "Sign up to be notified when this item becomes available." ? no indication of price or ability to place an order. What country are you in?

they took it out long time ago. Suspect may be they ran out of the pre-order quantities?

Just called Canon again, was told G11 is shiipping out to retailers on 9-28-09

Did Canon give you an update on when the S90 would be shipped?

no, i didn't ask for it, but their dates are keeps on changing as everytime i call it is a different date...

I got a bad news, my S90 preorder got canceled by Amazon. I am quite sure I place the order pretty early. Did anyone of you here with S90 order got canceled as well?

If not, when did you order it?

Beside, what about the G11. I didn't order G11 but I would like to know the status as well.

I preordered the G11 from Amazon about the 23 of Aug. Other than saying they will let me know when they have an approx. shipping date I haven't heard a peep out of them. I will cancel if they start shipping before I see some comprehensive reviews.

After they cancel my order, they try to make it up for me with 5% off. Actually, I dont really care about 5% or not... I just wanna get the cam ASAP.

well...some of them says october 7 for G11, and nothing at all for S90.
Pixmania says today for G11!!! But that's not confirmed....
