Forum link on WX1 light/iso comparison from a user.

Very good, would like to see some outside shot's, still not convinced about the outside capacity's of this camera, but getting more pleased anyway.

The pics of the little girl shot @3200iso w/ and w/o anti blur mode are encouraging for bighter sharper pics from yhe image stacking.

As a pocket camera that will no doubt spend most its time photographing and videoing the kids. The fast aperture plus very good high iso performance plus the 6-shot night modes makes for quite outstanding low light abilities. I see this is a huge plus - I basically don't take photos if a flash is needed as I don't like the look of flash photos. The photos linked above still look very good outdoors. I can accept that photos on a WX1 in bright conditions might not be quite as good as other good cameras. But I think that misses the point a bit. Cameras have been good in bright conditions for ages - a slight drop doesn't really matter. But on the flip side there is almost nothing affordable or portable that can perform so well in low light without a flash. This doubles my photography opportunities

You hit it on the head. I just got the WX1, and am learning all of the features with it still. To me, the benefits far outweigh the cons. The daylight images are still very good, but with the other capabilities it has, makes it easy to not worry about.

The video is excellent, very smooth with some nice features also.

The sweep panaorama is a very easy cool feature. Some will argue it isnt as good as stitching it together, but how many people want to do that.

I think this is an excellent camera, that can show people the benefits of advanced photography. I think this camera will be a gateway-drug. This will show a lot of people the things they can do.
