I'm glad you hurried, you've caught the moment perfectly. I love the expressions, and it's what superzooms are all about. Well done.

Although a very shadowed pic, I always appreciated it's mood and effect.

If everything is coming your way, you're in the wrong lane !

Thanks Roger, I know what you mean by the mood and effect here.

Sometimes I brighten shots like that, but often change my mind and return to the original.

The cat pic is great but while you're driving and taking pics you have slipped over to the wrong side of the road!!!

. . . taken with the F20 on a Saturday night in September 2008:

I mistakenly limited the ISO to 400, so the shutter speed was 1/28 sec slow!
I like the buzz though.

Yes, nice one, Mike. I find it's best to let the F20 sort out the exposure itself. It's programmed to set a shutter speed of 1/100th or faster, and will up the ISO to compensate. IMO ISO 1600 (or even 2000) would be OK for this kind of picture.

--i've spent far too much time this last year messing with dslr's and getting the perfect/techinically correct pics so it was real nice to go out and socialize and just use my superzoom and have fun again . cheers Paul UK

Thanks Erasmus, that's mostly what I do and I have some satisfactory stuff at 1600-2000 ISO. I find the natural light/flash mode useful sometimes too.

(PP is usually a waste of time, the pics are heavily processed already, though simple lightening, darkening, etc is OK.)

Good little camera, it's staying . . . . :)

I understand your comment, I had an E-410 for 6 months and it was stressful, any DSLR would have been stressful after an FZ, the controls and ergonomics are so weird . . . though I loved the DSLR for fast movement shots.

Bono - accidently taken at 0.6s . . . .
Thanks Andy, I was hoping that someone would someone might have a gig shot - they often look more interesting blurred than straight.

Needs straightening, must do that next time I go through them.
