Tumbnails behaving oddly?

The thumbnails don't seem to be loading properly from the Challenge site. Ones that were there have been disappearing (though the images they link to seem to be there OK), and I've regenerated thumbs twice on one of my entries.

I've also been getting a "could not load an image due to low system memory" message -- and since I have about 350 unused MB of RAM at the moment, that seems unlikely.

Has anyone else been seeing strange behavior in the Challenge thumbnails? If so, is there a way to let Pbase know about it?

Yes, I noticed the same thing and also had put an image in, saw a mistake I made on it and deleted it, then went back in to put in the corrected image and the part that lets you add images to the gallery is gone.

Is there a limit at PBase as to how many images per gallery? I don't recall any of the challenges before going over three pages and this one is already at four pages.

P.S. Before I posted this, I tried one more time after going out of the gallery and coming back in and now it let me upload the one shot. Now it is also back to three pages so I think something screwy is going on with PBase.

It's not just the challenge gallery, it does it with my gallery too. Must be the Pbase server.

Yes, I remarked about this yesterday. I've written to pBase help, thinking it was at my end. What I noticed is that, starting sometime yesterday, new thumbnails with an url that included "mikili" were the only ones affected. Also, thumbnails prior to yesterday with the same "mikili" were not affected. Other thumbnails didn't seem to be affected. I haven't heard from pBase, and I don't know about this sort of stuff...but I did notice what I've stated. Maybe someone can address this.
See if the criteria above are valid for thumbnails you are having trouble with.

hey Eric, im getting the same thing on my personal pbase gallery. Must be a glitch within PBase.

seems that theres a difference between mikola and miliki thumbs. Why cant they just get along...lol

It must be pbase, as I tried to view images from folks using them and all I get is box's where the images should have been, I went to see Yanni's first Zoo Animal post, but that picture is an empty square even though other images in the album are visible?????
