I thought I hated the Panasonic red color cameras, but the new Pentax (seen in spectacular fresh arterial exsanguination on my wide gamut monitor via profile-clueless Internet Explorer) is downright painful to look at.

I guess Pentax has the emergency fire and rescue camera market all locked up.

The white K-m was kinda cool, but this thing is a monstrosity from another dimension. Literally, I recall there was a tentacle-y monster of that colour in one of the old He-Man cartoons that Skeletor et al. summoned through some kind of portal.

What constitutes or makes a news item in this forum, DPR?

I like a red colored camera?

It can be ordered in other colours too...

That's funny!

I like Pentax cameras but the red that Panasonic uses is much more elegant looking (and less garish).

It seems you misunderstood. I was only, and specifically, talking about the red version.

I meant my post to be humorous anyway.

EDIT: now that I opened the link you posted, I believe you might have injected some humour yourself! What a lovely splash of colour, crikey...
Try the blaze orange model. A great hunting camera, I guess.

Actually, the story is that Pentax has come out with a new model camera, which, among its other more interesting specifications, happens to offer 100 color combinations--in Japan. You missed that part, though, didn't you?
Yep I did.
I'm so sorry I did.

Thank you very much

Yeah, at least we'll be able to see you. But then, I suppose the animals may do so too ;-)

One would presume the experts are correct in stating that the animals most often hunted, and most others, are color blind. It is a law in Virginia, my home state, during most hunting seasons, that an obvious piece of blaze orange clothing be worn when hunting.

The deer kill continues to grow each year.

Personally, I stay the hell out of the woods during deer and turkey seasons.

That's amazing. I hope this is someone's Photoshop exercise in bad color permutations. I can't imagine how any array of colors like this could be marketed to dealers - perhaps you place your color order and wait two months for your favorite tutti-frutti camera and grip combination.
