Just got a SD14 ...help with firmware update ...

When I try to update the firmware of the SD14. I read from Sigma web that

"If the version information is "Ver.1.07" and lower, it is necessary to update to this new firmware version."

My Sd14 is at version 1.02. According to the web, is it necessary to update to version 1.07 first before I can proceed with the update to version 1.08. If yes, there is no firmware available for download for version 1.07. So how can I update to this version (1.07) and then to 1.08. Please enlighten me. Thanks.

I can't give you a definitive answer. I've updated mine with each new update availability. I think there have been posts on this forum in the past (probably 6-18 months ago) which state that one does not have to pick up in-between updates to install the latest. If in doubt, you might contact Sigma directly. Here in the states the email link under contact options is answered fairly quickly.

Perhaps my more knowledgeable colleagues will reply definitively.
