Back To Black ...

This really is my final shot for this thread as I am back to work today and dont have any spare time.

This shot is with my F200exr and demonstrates the tone available in the blacks.

Hi! Dave,
I don't shoot in B&W --- but I do love this picture.

It is a picture of my Mom & Dad and my Uncle & Aunt - 1936.
It was a Double Ring Ceremony, which is quite unusual, even today.
The two women were best friends.
The woman on the left and the man on the right were sister and brother.
My Mom & Dad are on the left. They raised 7 children.
My Uncle and Aunt raised 9 children.
All four worked hard all their life and made many sacrifices for us.
All were Irish immigrants, and I am very proud of them and my heritage. :-)

All the best,
Jim

Photographers take pictures, not cameras.

... Thought I would add one more. I have shown this before, but I like it.

This was shot with my Nikon DSLR, just before I sold it. It is a colour image and converted using LAB mode and deleting channels.

If you wish to know how to : Click the PixPlanet link below and look under 'Other Stuff' (top right button - page 2). Look through 'Some Post Processing Tips' - Part 5 and Technique #3.

Cheers
