I've posted a bunch of images taken today - some in the evening - with my new GRD III. Please note that all have been adjusted in Aperture, and are not direct from the camera. The evening shots show a bit more noise than I was hoping, even at ISO 400, but on the whole I'm really impressed. I'm liking this camera a lot more than I had expected.

Images can be found on Flickr here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/41962224@N06/ (in the New GRD III set)

Otherwise here's a quick look:

Thanks for looking.

Paul, Very very nice. They look great to me.

Were these RAW images, or from jpegs?
A bit of both - but mostly RAW. I invariably import into Aperture, which means I can't help but fiddle (I've been post processing for years, so what stop now) so RAW makes sense.

When my wife takes photos with it I'll stick her on one of the MY settings and she can snap away on medium JPEG. It will be interesting to see the difference.

Paul, I am doing an Aperture trial right now, easier than lightroom but I still have to read the tutorials. I am learning. They do not have a slide that says sharpness, is that the one that says vibrancy?

I will read more

Is it possible you have not found that you add 'panels' in the "Adjustments" tab by clicking the little "+" and choosing, for example, "Sharpen"? It is not immediately obvious.
Sorry if this is not what you mean :(

Correct - it's not on by default. In the adjustments tab you need to click on the little + sign to add it.

Use "edge sharpen", rather than "sharpen" - which is a left over from v1.0 days.

Head on over to the Apple Aperture discussion at apple.com for more advice etc.
