Here is my Yellow Stone and a little more to boot.....

I couldn't really find out what the line was, it is something to do with maintenance on them. Its like a big zip line that runs down to a big rock and is bolted to it.

Well I am wanted it states west so I couldn't go that way..... LOL

The weather could not have been better, the whole trip was the same, clear skies and great temps.
We had a really really great time, it was wonderful.

Now to get them all up it was just LightRoom and ACDSee.....

Well I had a total of 1400 shots to pick from and there were a lot that looked the same so I just deleted those.... LOL

It was not easy...

I have been to others but Yellow Stone is the best to me, so much to see and so little time.

I did go your Pbase galleries and did some looking around, some neat place to see there, now were to go next year.... LOL

I enjoyed these photos, very nice indeed. And, I looked through your pbase gallery and found several winners there, too. You have so many nice ones, your problem will be choosing the ones you like best. Yellowstone has such tremendous variety, I don’t know how long I’d have to stay there to get my fill.

When I’ve visited the National Parks, I’ve enjoyed staying at the original lodges in each park. Those old lodges are so atmospheric; it seems to add to the experience. Did you stay in Old Faithful Inn, or one of the other lodges they have in the park?

I still look forward to meeting you some day. I’ll enjoy comparing notes with you. I hope it is soon.

Great shots and gallery, Bill. Yellowstone is one of my favorites places, all my visits were pre-digital.

Are you planning to label the shots in your PBase gallery? Although I recognize most of the Yellowstone shots, it would be really nice to know what I'm looking at.

We did not stay at the main lodge this trip but the next time we go we are going to.
I just did not know how great the lodge was, it is a grand old building.

Now maybe next spring on my spring drive about we can meet up someplace along the line.

Thanks.....

I am really lazy about doing titles on my Pbase side but I guess it would be best to do these or some of them.

I put labels on all the images.

I didn't name each of the geysers just the basins mainly. I also labeled the area we were at.

Love them all, but that second one of the first group is a real nice reflection shot. So too is the one with all the trees reflecting on the lake. First rate waterfall as well. Thanks, I enjoyed the trip.

Great shots Bill. I feel like I am there. Wait, I was there just over a month before you. Looks like we travled a similar route to the various parks.

If you can't make sense, go make nonsense. It's better than no sense at all.
