Am I losing it?

Very nice series - especially like the second to last - reminds me of some old shot from one of the masters. I'm getting older and memory fades.. ;)
Hi Carl...if you think your memory is bad now...wait a few more decades and then you will have more fun trying to remember...:)...Hi Lin...:)

then I'm losing it with ya. I find these compelling and intriguing. The last one just draws me into the image. Thanks Seng.
Thank you Norm...may be something much cooler trek on your neck of the wood next year, so I won't be tempted to do Mars things.

The first two are kind of dark (especially the first one) but I thought the third was more etherial than dark... I think you are expanding, not contracting.
Thank you Kendall for your input...I am trying to keep improving but the mood getting dark at times...as long as my waist line is not keep expanding, I am happy :)

Hi David...Glad you like it...I do like to get those dark, doom and gloom mood...but sometime I keep coming back to the bright snow white of IR leaves that I like so much...thank you for the suggestion, if I ever get back out there, I will try more of the limbs.
S
That first shot is terrific, Seng. I love the mood.

I like the third one, too. To my eye, the last is perhaps too conventionally framed for the abstraction of your IR technique. Looks to me as if it would have been very fine in regular black and white. Now, if you'd pointed your lens in among those lovely dark-limbed trees at the right there ...

Not losing it, IMO. These photos are delicious, perfect subjects for IR IMO and I like the warm tone. BTW, I picked up a copy of the book you mentioned in another thread, "On Digital Photography", by Stephen Johnson. IMO it's a very interesting book, well written, by a knowledgeable author. Thanks very much for calling attention to it. I've made a lot of notes while reading it and can't wait to try a few things out when I get my SD14 back from service dept.

I have some IR work here

Take a picture, it'll last longer.

I really love the emotional quality of them, gives a wonderful relief from the trying to copy reality transporting me to the otherworld of dreams and longing
Thanks you so much!

Hi John,

I looked at your IR gallery...I love it, many many nice ones and so glad to see more IR enthusiasms. Also glad to find the book interesting and useful. He is also a very good teacher, makes things simple to understand.
Hope your SD14 backs soon.
