Hi everyone,

So I recently went out and took some great pictures of this old bridge we have in town (very large) and did it at aprox. 50mm (as I'm told this is a good focal length for panaramic's). I'm using the Nikon CP4500.

Now when I go to use the Panarama software included on the Nikon 5 CD, it doesn't come even close to putting my pictures together properly. What am I doing wrong? They're all slanted (when I took the pics all straight, and at the same angle).

IMHO, the 4500 Pano function is the most pathetic excuse for Pano that I have ever encountered. I just tried it and it flunks completely. I have done panos by hand, using various stitching software with 3 of the cameras that I have owned. I've had one other camera with a Pano mode that worked beautifully. But the 4500 fails completely.

You are better off doing panos without using the so-called scene.

Just to add more aggravation to the situation, it renumbers the panos starting at #1, and now even the regular shots pick up from that lower number.

Inexcusable!

Is any other 4500 user seeing this?
