POLL: How long ago did you use the MLU function in your A700?

I have both the a700 and a900, though I mostly use the latter now. I very rarely use a tripod, so rarely use MLU...

Sony a900, a700; CZ24-70mm, SAL70-300mmG, 50mm F1.4, 100mm F2.8 macro, CZ16-80mm, KM11-18mm, SAL18-250mm

Not got an A700, but A900 and KM 7D. Use the MLU virtually all the time when shooting anything static with tripod when I want critical sharpness.

Chris.

Never used it on film cameras either, but I think only my Dad's the Konica T-3 had it. My XE, XD-11, 400si didn't.

Only in that it engages when the timer is used. Other than that I don't think it would mater too much to me. Perhaps there would be some tiny fractional difference in IQ versus a normal shot but I really doubt I could tell the difference. I think sometimes we get a little too obsessed with the last .000000001% of quality.
