camera for shooting jewerly

Now that we know he is going to use this camera for online images, he could even buy a used older camera like a Nikon D1 and a manual focus 55mm f3.5. This could be cheaper than a new point a shoot with MUCH better images. He could get a free version of Capture 4.1 to process the images too.

But for the web, it wouldn't show up much when the images are 800 pixels across. Only photographers would notice the difference.
That is great advice.

I saw the new about fires in Greece. Hope you and your family are safe and sound.

Meanwhile, I'll be interested to see some FZ35 pics. I'm sure the quality will be as good as the Fuji.

Best regards,
Jim

Photographers take pictures, not cameras.

sorry seems i missed some interesting posts from other users and wanted to thank them for their efford to help me!

when it comes to the fires, they are taking place in the mainland very far away from me and thanks very much, i am safe but they remind me the last years fire which was so strong and burnt more than the half of my islands forests.

there are no casualties so far but many families have lost their homes and our stupid government (probably the worst of the last 50 years) does nothing :(

thanks man. it is one of the first pages i seen.
if you are coming to the aegean and you need tips, let me know!
