New (Used) Sigma APO 400mm Prime

My brother 2 hours away called about an ad selling a 8000i w/ Sigma APO 75-300mm f/4-5.6 and 55mm front thread.

The selling gentleman pulled out a huge Sigma 400mm APO f/5.6 w/ 72mm front thread and said it was "locked up". He said I could have it for free if I could "unlock" it. Well, I mounted it on my A700 and it sprang to life. It's a quick focus lens. Here are a few sample images from it plus one from the 75-300mm.

It looks like I got 2 good copies. Which lens should I keep?

--Keep BOTH. They are Both doing a Great Job. Excellent images by the way!

If you can only keep one, then think about which kind of photos you going to take and go from there.
