I don't want to go against the rules of this forum but I could use everones help. I have somethings that I going to be putting on Ebay that were bought for me, so I am clueless as to there value. I want to cell everything together, since I don't need them after buying my Pro90IS. If you were celling all this how much wuld you be trying to get for it.

1 Tiffen 2X Teleconverter w/ Front and rear caps
1 Tiffen .75X Wide Converter w/ Front and rear caps
1 Tiffen 67mm UV Filter
1 Tiffen 67mm Circuclar Polarizer Filter
1 Tiffen G1/G2 Adapter Tube to 43mm
1 Tiffen 43mm 812 Warming Filter
1 Tiffen 43mm FLD Filter
1 Tiffen 43mm 4pt Star Filter
2 Tiffen 43mm UV Filters

Everything is perfect new condition. I want to be fair but I don't want to get ripped off either. So what does everyone think?

EBay is an interesting place. It's the market, you can ask anything you want but in the end, the market rules. If it were me, I post it for half of what I actually paid for it and see what happens. If people really want it, it will get bid up to the going market price. If people don't want it, it won't. Either way, you probably get what it's worth on the open market. IMHO.

I've been surprised in that everything I've sold on ebay has gone for more than I was willing to take for it. Not outrageously more, just more. So I'd do as another contributor to this thread recommended, put a reasonable number out there and see. Just make certain that potential buyers have a clear idea of what these lenses would fit and how they could use them. Many buyers are neophytes and need things made clear. I gave one potential buyer quite a bit of help with his lens selection for the body I was selling ... and had fun doing it.

Wiggy,

How did these accessories fare in producing pictures? Also, I heard Tiffen is really heavy compared to others.

Please let us know.

I have been real happy with the pictures that I have gotten with my G1 and tiffen lens combo. Yes it is a little heavy. I now have a Pro90IS and it can't compare with that zoom, or the advantage of the IS. There a few pics at my G1 site take with the combo. Keep in mind I'm no Pro and still learning.

Eric,
Thank you for your reply. The problem is I didn't buy these things
so I don't have a clue what even half there value would be. I don't
want to post them without a reserve price and have them cell for a
dollar. I may end up just throwing a number out there and see what
happens.

If it were me I would do a little bit of Web research to determine a retail base line number. I know that Best Buy (www.bestbuy.com) sells the leneses and the adapter. I would goto http://www.2filters.com for the indivdual filters.

Good Luck

Please pardon me (and let me know) if I am breaking any of Forum rules here...
