I have a Pro 9000 and get black ink smudges and black marks on all corners of my prints. I have had the printer repaired three times and the dealer can't remedy the problem. Does anyone else experience this type of issue? Thanks very much.

That can happen with all printers of all makes.

Basic reason is even a slight curl at corners means that part lifts, even slightly, and thus can touch the undersaide of the actual printhead nozzles = why you get such problems.

Any plastic type photo paper tends to curl, whether slightly or a lot, as soon as removed from its box. It is a case of carefully and gently physically straightening as much as you can before inserting into the printer. Often, best to insert only a couple of sheets at a time as otherwise, even if several, they will all curl back again before they get used. Anything larger than A4? - only insert one straightened sheet at a time, because the longer time for prints such as A3 enables the other sheet(s) to curl back whilst printing. A definite PITA but there you go! :-(
