Lumix LX3 Case

The LX3 is very blurry in this, like it was shot with a mobile phone. The case is less blurry, suggesting its a photochop job.

At the bottom, the case is visibly curved. But the LX3 is quite rectangular with respect to the sides and bottom. If its real, there must be a lot of empty space in the bottom of the case.

The LX3 front is not flat, it has a sculpted grip on the right hand side, the photo doesn't show the case accommodating this curve. So again either there is a very poor fit (ie sloppy empty space) or the photo is a chop-job.

Lastly I'd most concerned about the fact that they do NOT show what the rear looks like, as there is a large screen and the controls on the back. The way the real Panasonic case is constructed - most of the back is cut away - indicates there is no way a rear flap like the one shown in the photo can effectively stay attached unless it covers some of the screen (on the left side of the rear of the body) and controls on the right side of the rear of the body.

Without a photo showing what the back looks like I wouldn't touch it.

They do show the back. This is not like the 'everyready' case. This is a case that just holds the camera, you cannot take photos with it in the case. You have to remove the camera to use it. Looks like a nice case if that is the type someone is looking for. I have the 'everyready' type case, which I really like.

Gear=A camera with a lens.

The case is fine if thats what you want, ebay has plenty of things that work great, even if theyre fake.

And this is definitely fake, the box design looks nothing like standard Panasonic boxes for anything Lumix.

As others have already said - it doesn't look legit - simply because it is NOT legit ...

The legit is the true Panasonic which is a two-part case - you can keep the camera in the bottom part and in fact USE the camera with that lower part in place - as all controls and the whole of the rear of the camera is visible/usable.

But above all - the genuine case does then give you an excellent leather 'store' case when the camera is not in use - or an excellent usable case with the good protection on the lower half - yet still not restricting the camera in any way.

THAT is why the REAL one of course is maybe more than twice the price of this here.

Pesonally I just wouldn't want to spend the money on a case that is no more than a 'holding' case when the camera is not in use - many other cheaper ones will do that just as well.
