What a nice view!

PP means post processing, like editing or touching up in a photoshop program. I think the composition could make the photo a little bit better. There is a whole lot of open space, just plain waves that dont really interest the eye all that much, the bottleneck in the lack or river or whatever is also kinda right in the middle of the frame which draws your eye up the middle of the photo where there is a little more nothing. I would read a little more about composition and try to make something a little more obvious subject of the photo.

A photograph occupies a unique place in our conception of time. A photograph is a single moment that will never happen again immortalized in a medium that can be kept forever. What does this say about linear time?

Almost two-thirds of your picture shows the lake, a bland area with nothing in it. If you could include a foreground subject like a boat you would make it more interesting. As it is, the picture is simply a record of what you saw, and not a creative photograph.

try to recreate the atmosphere of the beauty that you feel on the shore of the lake.

Some things that would spice up a lake picture like yours would be to tighten up the shot (zoom in) and capture some water, some shore line and something of interest, like some babes on a jet ski, some nice architecture or an animal. Use the lines of the beautiful scenery to pull your eye to a point of interest.

A great sunset or sunrise would be nice - and it would also give a nicer light to the photo.

Look throught the forum for some scenic pictures that convey the emotion that you feel and study their composition and lighting.

The PP that the above poster refers to is Post Processing. This is a program like Adobe Photoshop Elements, or one of many others, that will let you crop the picture, adjust the lighting and manipulate the picture in a whole bunch of ways. Post Processing has a learning curve to it, but the control that it gives you over the final picture makes it well worth learning.

I think you have a very nice background; all you need is a subject.

OK, not so purely a hobby.
