Beautiful. Don't throw that cam away...have it reloaded or refurbished or resurfaced or retreaded...or something. RG

Mart photographers take photos while others keep whining about repair etc. I am glad that you are using your camera upto its full potential. And if you ever get swayed away by "disposable" comment, do let me know where are you disposing Kodak Z980.

Please put your opinion on DPR's database section for Z980, it helps positively for right minded people to decide.

Hi all,

Thanks both for your kind comments! Very nice.
Concerning the DPR database, I submitted my mini review 2 days ago.

I am very happy with my Z980, and ofcourse it's not perfect, but neither am I.....

Excellent shot. And in case you are disposing it, can I give you the address and a map of my apartment's dumpster's location!! I'll be glad to dig around the garbage and retrieve this beauty of a camera.

On a very serious note, it is an excellent superzoom that you have.

Thanks, but don't hold your breath on it........;-D

Hi Blackbear,

Some disposable camera's are quite good in fact. Nevertheless they are still disposable!

Very nice shots of bee's and the fly although I hate flies myself. ;o)))

Of course Macro type close up's look fine with smaller sensors. The proof of the pudding will be with backlit scenics and the such.

But heck if you are having fun with the camera that is all that matters.

I just hope you are handling the camera with gloves because I would be worried about getting LEAD paint on my hands. hahahaha

Have fun that is all photography is about unless you earn your living from it.

Mart,

I liked your spirit and enthusiasm. I am glad that you are with us on Kodak Talk forum. And dont get distracted with biased negativism and unleashed the amature photographer inside you. Shoot and Share.

All the best-take care.
