How do you reduce paper curling on roll paper?

if you use the paper cutter no way to really reduce it. if you do a continuous stream you can reverse roll it(over a cardboard roll like from a tp or paper towel roll), and that will take most of the curl out
I recently started usung the roll paper with my epson 2200. I love
the convience but hate the fact that the paper curls so much. Any
suggestions?

The Epson 1290 is delivered with a roll of paper and a clear plastic sheet to aid rolling the paper 'backwards' prior to printing. This is to allow the paper to feed in properly. I suppose the same could be done after printing. Never used it though - roll and plastic still in the box.

I have an Epson 1280 and use roll paper. The plastic sheet helps when first feeding the roll to the printer.
More imaportant, the higher level of humidity in the room the less curle.

oh...great to hear as we begin winter soon and the humidity here (North Pole Alaska) is about to drop to 0...maybe it's time to get a humidifier...we've had them in the past but they are a pain in the rear.
