Nikon F4s

John - email me if intersted. sounds like you're on to an f4s already but i have a nice body i may be willing to sell...or at least give you a point of view of someone who has had a 10+ year love affair with this camera!

Bill
Anyone have the above to sell??

I have an F5 and couldn't agree more that it is an exceptional classic. The matrix on the f4 is certainly unsophisticated by today's standards but is still excellent. I actually use the spot 90% of the time in Manual mode. What I love about the F4 is it's style (sorry)! Fits like a glove, is heavy but not oppresively, TONS of affordable accessories, etc.

Why buy a f4? f5 is the fix on metering system.

I have a mint F4S with both battery housings (four and six battery units). The camera is in mint condition (boxed with all manuals etc) mainly because I have rarely used it I use my F90 and Hasselblad stuff almost 100 percent of the time. I'm trying to shift to digital because I discovered after some time that I am allergic to RA-4 chemicals it seems--(I have a complete colour lab in my home darkroom--I may be selling that too).

Where are you located?

Fred

I'm in Toronto--but, interestingly enough, I'm visiting Hong Kong on holidays at the end of November.

That's perfect Fred. You can bring the camera (of course ony if it's convenient to you) to sell to me. I am really serious about that Fred. In the mean time if you have time can you please send some photo of that F4 to my email at:

Thanks a lot for your courtesy.
