Matt, Marc (x2), Darren, Godfrey and a host of others, of which some are mentioned in this thread already, that are sure to if not get a comment then a post from them is something i am sure to look at.

However Keitha really got to me with this photo:

Not sure why or how but it made me pause and she has a wonderful eye.

Due to the fact that it is so difficult to choose only one photographer and one photo from so many great photographers on this forum, so I thought may as well choose one from a great friend of mine, Brett St Pierre. This is one of my favourites of his:

....to be found in the DPR Challenges, Some that are quite remarkable & that I really liked that were recently submitted are below. Of course there really are a huge number of visually competent images to be found there. Truly educational.

Great idea for a thread Chris, thanks.

In an odd coincidence, I just watched the movie "Walkabout" last night - set in Australia, featuring a pool similar to this one.

There are so many photographers on this forum who inspire me; I could
have easily posted 50 shots here without even having to think about
it, so I figured I'd pick one today and hope you do this thread again
so I can list the other 49 :)
Ditto!
Betsy consistently takes photos that I wish I had taken, which is the
highest compliment I can think of. The colors, the lines, the way the
light creates the drama in her shots - it's all there, time and time
again.
Wow! Thanks so much, and right back at you. I'm always impressed by your shots, and your processing of those shots.

Well, I am going to kind of cheat here. I've no idea whether this tog posts in these forums or not. His/her handle on Flickr is "Morosphinx" and his/her pictures are taken with a K100DS and a Sigma 10-20. Here's a few ....

Not bad, eh?

A very limited photographer ...

Thomas, I am honored! You've been one of my inspirations since I first joined this forum - in fact, I remember that you were one of the first to reply to some of my first posts (one of those "which lenses should I buy" threads!).

Thank you for continuing to inspire us all with both the photos you take and with the patience and understanding you show to even the newest of us on these forums.

I hadn't seen this one, thanks for posting it - amazing shot and the pool is stunning as well. I wonder how much that thing cost someone to build - and the lane markers (?) on the bottom are really neat as well.
