Seems to be on par with the DP1 but more ergo rounded.

If the E-P1 + 14-42mm matches the DP1 I will be very impressed indeed. That's a damned good prime lens on the DP1.

We'll hopefully be able to do a comparison in the near future.

If the LCD was smaller. But nobody wants to go backwards on LCD size anymore. Therefore, size will be forever limited by the LCD.

I'm curious about a Leica M body size in comparison.

how about next to a E420/410 + pancake. I think that is the real competition for the Ep1.

The metal body of the EP-1 and supposed better IQ will make people tilt to the to the EP-1 but the draw of the cheaper price of the 420 cannot be denied.

It looks like a mixture of metal and plastic. Similar to how many cameras were built in the eighties.

Wow, that is quite a bit bigger than the SD800 (right now my carry-everywhere cam), I hadn't realized quite how much.... Does take away some of the gear lust.
