I would like to be able to say that it was skill, careful planning, waiting for just the right moment when the sun was in exactly the right spot ...
But I would be lying!
It was sheer serendipity, and I got a number of them like this. It was very strong specular glare from water droplets on the lily pads in the background. The sun was behind me ...
I thought "Oh, bugger", and then realised that it was rather a nice effect, lol! EVEN though a terrible technical fault ... :-|
