Terrorism

Hi all,

I want to share with you the aftermath of a terrorist attack -- I call these people 'animals', although the world knows them as 'Taliban'. These are views of Pearl Continental Hotel in Peshawar, Pakistan. This is my home town - I live in the UK but am visiting to see my family. This hotel is/was the only 5 star facility in the city and was very popular with a lot of people. I had had a meal at the place only 3 days previously. These animals drove a lorry full of explosives into the car park -- the result was 18 dead and dozens injured. Please pray for my homeland - it is burning at the hands of these people -- as I write this, there have been 2 further bombs.
I took the pictures yesterday - K20D with 18-250 lens.

Terrorism is indeed very ugly wherever it occurs. You have my sympathy. I know onlly too well how much it hurts when it is your own home town that is targetted.

I would point out though that it is the "human" that behaves like this. The "animal" generally kills only for food or to maintain a territory that it uses for food gathering.

Very sad that human can do such thing, animals won't do this because animals are fight and kill for foods.

Not true about all animals I am afraid . Foxes will kill all the chickens in a pen but don't eat them.

Same sort of thing of course goes for some humans.
