** New Wedding Album On-line : Tom & Leen **

Bart

Very nice photos. I am sure your friends were very happy with the results. I was not so lucky with the weather (all photos need a flash unfortunately), but here is my first wedding photos with my D60 (and 28-105, built in flash used as I was 'told' by my better half that the 550EX was too flashy to take to the wedding - there was an official photographer as well).

Please check them out and let me know what you think.

here is some feedback : you need more pics of the bride looking towards the camera (not necessarily at the camera), custom white balance for indoor shots, and most of your shots are close up's of faces which though nice, do not tell a story, which IMHO is the more important aspect. Using wider angle lenses or showing more interaction would greatly improve your pictures. For indoor shots, drag the shutter or bring a second light, because these look too much like direct flash shots (which they are, but you can make them look better).

Also, you should concentrate more on bride and groom. just my 2c.

I didn;t realize you were not the official photographer.

Make sure you do not take pics during the formals, othrewise you cause 'Uncle Harry' eyes (couples looking at you or other photogs during the formals).

Good effort. Are you thinking of doing a full wedding? They are very demanding and stressful since you need to deliver all the time! :)

As for using on camera flash, it was good judgement. Still, dragging the shutter will help it look better ;)

Thanks

were blessed with sufficient light to make the D60 do it's thing.
There are circumstances that would grind you to a halt, but
fortunately that didn't happen this time. It looks real nice. Good
compositions and well balanced exposures. :-)
Thx. About the light, I used fill-flash for almost all shots.

Very nice shots.

The one with his hand planted firmly on her butt is rather interesting for a wedding shot :)

Some seem a little under exposed. Some lack life, but that may be the color space and not the picture. I like a little more zing to my shots.

I'd use a bit more zoom for some of the pictures and aim more downworths with the camera for some of the shots, like 20, 32, 38, 43, 44, 45, 50, ...

Just my 0.02USD ...
