....my SD14! It is only after some time after my photography trip that I have the time to examine and process the RAW files carefully.

Beautiful shots! Are these the rice fields outside Kunming? What time of the year were these shot?

The place is call Yuan Yang, about 175KM from KunMing. Yuan Yang is famous of its spectacular terraced paddy fields.

Best time to travel is from November until Apr next year, from Dec - Feb offers the most beautiful reflection, during the period the farmers had flooded the fields with water.

From the 2nd. half of Apr until end of Apr too will give you some fantastic scenes, at this times the farmers will start planting and the fields are full of activities, there will be buffalo and people, which offer very good scale to the composition.

The greenish jade like colors are the paddy itself!
