What's the difference between these two!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

This might be a strange question, but is there any difference between the G2 and the Black G2? This has come up because I see that websites sell the Black G2 for MUCH more than the regular colored G2. Limited supply or something?

They are identical. Black ones came later and it has the latest firmware version 1.1.0.0. It has has a slighly better rubbery grip.

In the USA it comes with an extra 96mb compact flash and a leather case, most important, it just looks goooood!!

Yup, I was given a choice to choose either the champagne or black and I chose black. My reasons are:
1) Look more professional
2) Guaranteed to have the latest firmware
3) Fits other accessories' color (e.g. flash)
4) Nicer rubbery grip(Just by a tiny litle bit)

In Europe, gererally it cames with 1 Gb IBM Microdrive.

Any one knows reason of the USA model dosen't comes with microdrive ?

In USA, black G2 camera you can get is called Deluxe Kit which has extra 96MB card, leather case and black camera, costs $100 more than silver camera. Tom
