Pride and Joy challenge niggle

I was going to enter the You Pride And Joy challenge but after looking at some of the entries I decided not to, it says 'Your pride and joy, your Omega Sea Master, Car, Harley D, piece of old furniture, camera etc' when I looked out of 123 entries 51 are babies, animals, girl friends etc, the challenge does not mention people or animals just objects, I know that millions out there have a favorite pride and joy that is not an object and love and cherish it and want people to see them.

Am I in a grey area here, their is an 'etc' after camera perhaps this makes it OK, oh and by the way I am 68, never been married and have no offspring(I think!)so I could be biased, LOL.

I await eagerly to see if I get any replies, probably not.

Its interesting thinking about what has been said before about the Challenges not being fair, they are not serious as their are no prizes, just a feel good factor when you come near the top, they are just fun, but rules are rules.

The challenges are a waste of time and effort, so don't worry Barrie maybe in the future someone start organising them properly .....maybe not!
