but the difference between the different RAW converters
isn't so great in my opinion.
i dont think its entirely true John .........and i did not see any one trying NX even its not designed for other brands thats the reason why i'm curious to see what it can do or not.

it doesn't harm to try things and maybe others can benefit as well.

can u please point me to one unedited shot at ur site ? i know u had one posted but i cant remember which one.

cheers Marti

I think that is not true at all! We all have our ideas to try and each has his idea of what works. I simply meant this shot doesn't turn me on. It may well do the opposite for others.

How long will it take Sony to repair your A900. Good thing you did not use your R1. If only Van Gogh could hve just kept his ear out of focus instead of cutting it off for his self portrait. Nice to have a face to go with the portraits.

that I used, to take this shot. The classrooms in my school have a reflective mirroring surface applied to the inside, which allows people to observe the classroom from the outside without being noticed. The mirror has a funky visual quality which I like, and I also get the feeling, from these windows that I'm about to be questioned by the police. I was doing my best impression of a guy trying to look through a mirror to see if there are police on the other side.

because you enjoy the flogging? Or is that just a little extra benny? ;)

Anyway I think the odd pose & Malkovitch-like expression are the best I've seen in this staid venue.
