and I love it. It was love at first sight. It will take a little time to get used to the scenes because with the 6490, it never had this feature. I noticed right away that when you use the on board flash it is strong enough to light up the whole room.
This is a definite keeper for me. Will post some shots soon.

Melissa: Glad you like the camera and can't wait to see some of your pictures. I am very interested in this camera and so far it seems to be getting very favorable reviews. It looks like a good all around camera and will pick one up when I get a chance.
I received mine late yesterday afternoon and used it that night to take some pics of my grandson's birthday. I also had a 6490 so I can also make a comparison. The on board flash is MUCH brighter and the pictures are brilliant. I have a lot of experimenting to do yet but those are my first impressions.
I can confirm there is no diopter adjustment or screw mounts for lens filters.
