I have bought WD MyBook 640 GB external HDD, and now found one prog, that is more or less fine and just works for me - it is Super Flexible Synchronizer. But still I'd like to apply for your opinion, maybe for someone's who had been using external hdd for a long time and has an exprerience of using various other software. What would you recommend?

Thank you in advance.

For backup I use Acronis. For Synchronization I use SyncbackSE

I admit I have never heard or seen Super Flexible Synchronizer advocated anywhere.

Synctoy is a popular application.

Syncback (which I use) also receives a lot of publicity

another vote for syncback. I've used the free version for years, not only for daily incremental data backups but for synchonising different music mixes to my many portable players. The options are very flexible and the write is faster than windows explorer.

Better than Synctoy by a long margin.I have used it for many years. I have tested others, but HD is just better IMO.

SmartSync Pro is what I use. It has endless features and it very fast.
