Took my Tamron 18-250 on my A100 (and not on my A700) and still was so impressed with the amazing tack sharp pictures. The A100 is still an amazing camera, with the right glass.

Shot in RAW and with minimal PP. exif should be intact on the images.

Place: The Walk, Dubai Marina, Dubai, UAE. In front of one of the may Starbuckses

75mm, f/9

50mm, f/9

250mm f/6.3

160mm f/7.1

Where did that price come from. A friend of mine just sold his for $14,000. he paid $26,000 for it 2 years ago. When he bought it he thought because it was a special bike it would hold it's value but he was wrong.

15k sounds about right for a used one. Might be customizations, arab folks sometimes go all the way out with chroming things up and getting expensive accessories. 55k sounds a bit off though.
Cheers.

Photos are A M A Z I N G.

...is not the clarity...

...is not even the bike...

...it is the complete lack of dust or dirt! Not a speck, nada, zip! As well as taking sharp shots you should be especially proud of how spotless you keep your bike and helmet. The tiniest fly would show up on such a shiny finish, but I think you would need a Phase One 645 back to see any unwanted specks on your machine!
Nice one.

Hi!

Thank yo all so much for the nice input. I should spend some time on PP next on these pics, let's see what I can improve.

And a disclaimer: Unfortunately it's not my bike. I just saw it and had to take some pictures, the whole machine had not a single fingerprint of speckle on it. I have NO clue how that was possible.

I wish this one would be mine though :-)

All the best and thanks again,
Ralf

$55000 is the Australian price. There is one brand new one left in Australia. By the time bikues get here they cost 3 times as much. The tyranny of distance (and greed). Still beatiful pics though. :-))

my SAL 18-250mm & A-100, but I must say, these are the best I've ever seen out of this lens! I think you've squeezed every ounce of IQ out of the combination. Awesome colors, sharpness & subject matter. Maybe it's not just the camera & lens ;-)

Real nice shooting!

Question: What do you do all week?
Answer: Mon to Fri. Nothing, Sat & Sun I rest!

I was looking again (wow, I really like these) and noticed a little CA in the last two. I suppose it's due to the more wide open shooting. Maybe you could work on it a little.
