I ordered the D100 today. What are the cards that are compatible with the camera? Any type I or Type II? Or are there brands that are not supported?

Positive or negative experiences are welcomed. I want to buy a card before getting the camera (of course, with all the delays, I will have plenty of time to find the right one).
Thanks in advance.

Hi Eduardo:

I'm in the same position as yourself, and also wanted to ask the forum if they find the Microdrives reliable or is the CF type I better (albeit more expensive)?

Are there any 'power consumption' concerns with using the Microdrives in the D100??

Thanks in advance for any comments/suggestions.

The only one I have heard of not working is the Mr. Flash brand. A lot of people in the Storage forum swear by Ridata CF cards for being fast and priced right ($192 for 512MB). I have 2 Ridata 512MB and a 1GB Microdrive. Everything has been working fine so far.

microdrive will use a bit more battery power , just dont get the older model of the 340Meg as it probally wont work and consumes a lot of power compared to the newer 340 and 1G drives
