About a year ago, I was thinking that people are taking more and more pictures, by the Gbytes. Given the rate of bad photos that is produced (for example taking dozens of shots of the same thing and subsequently keeping all of them) I wonder what that is doing to the environment.

Is photography exempted from being more environmentally sustainable?

Didn't we just have a Self Portrait challenge?
I am still trying to scrub off the sharpie ... did the blue ever wash off?

PS I never gave a "serious" review of that shot. It was in my tt and I really liked it. I am sorry you had to live it.

Much as I like the cause, I don't like to portray it on photograph.

It's suppose to be a hobby, not stirring up contenscious subject which has no immediate solution.

JB,
How to portray negative elements positively?
That's the question.
I don't believe in airing dirty laundry... that's the tabloidy media duty.

I understand you live in a country where industrialization is at its peak while regulation has not caught up yet. I would imagine it might even be “risky” for you to take images and post them. I also understand not wanting to portray this topic in any image … but it does get people thinking and maybe even doing something about it. You could do a shot about “not” killing the earth … something like recycling. At least you are participating by thinking about it and I don’t think Leanne could ask any more. If I don’t see you in this challenge I hope to see you in the next one.

Good Luck
