shallow DOF "as we all know" but there are more things capable of
even shallower DOF.

Sure does, very thin...Sure has thin DOF wide open.
A tilt lens might do the job very well... a 300mm F/2.8 too. But heck, a 85mm F/1.4 really does have very shallow DOF and that's without having to stand 14 feet from your subject (300mm) and it's much easier to use (tilt lens).OK show me some examples you have.I don't really understand the point of this...sure, it has really
