Good way to loose all your pic's

I tend to download all my pictures after each photoshoot with the cut and paste function of Windows Explorer from the Sigma CF folder.

I wouldn't mind if someone gifted me with this 64 Gb card.

Yeah, just doesn't make sense to me to have too many images on one card, especially if they're really important pictures. It's not a question of IF but WHEN electronic devices will fail so it makes sense to protect yourself by not putting all your eggs in one basket. Back when I shot a lot of film the idea of having a 250 shot bulk back was pretty heady stuff but it came with a price. Most of us got along just fine with 36 shots at a time...

Look at the picture, not the pixels...

MF digital? Huge files and a pro might shoot for hours. 16-64gb cards make a lot more sense in that light. Backups should be part of any digital photographers DAM/workflow anyway.

Is "loosing" a pic kind of like opening a little door in the card and letting them run free...?

;-)

That is funny. Is it just me thinking this, or is this the most common writing mistake on the internet. "Loose" is to set something free, "lose" is to not be able to find something. They are mixed up all the time in things that I read.
