Saying hello!

I just want to say hello to everyone on the forum. I've been lurking here for many years, since my Kodak DCS260 days!

I am retired from Law Enforcement and am finding myself with lots of free time!

I just upgraded to a Nikon D90/18-200 VR from a D70 and am finding lots of new things to take my time and money!

I have found this site to be a very interesting and informative way to spend my time and have picked up a few ideas on what to do with my spare change!

I have a website, but as of yet haven't gotten around to posting any pics from my D90. Most of the pics on site were from my D70, Coolpix 990, Canon S40 and Olympus E10. One with general subject matter, one with firearms and related items and one, my favorite, is my Dachshund Bongalouie's gallery.

Welcome. I mostly lurk and learn, but your site was interesting. I really like my D60, but there is no toy to compare with a carefully prepared model 1911.

I went to look at your pictures, but could not get past all the hate on your main page. Granted it is your site to express your opinions, but a lot of people will be turned off by the in-your-face anti-democrat and Kennedy/Obama hate. I'm not trying to tell you how to run your site, just giving you my opinion.

It's his site. I didn't see hate, I saw his opinion of the state of the union, and he's pretty much bang on.

I did say as much, that it was his site, and he can express whatever he wants.

"Hussein Obama", "kennedy compund for scummy clan" really isn't an opinion as much as it is a dig though. And maybe hate was too strong, but it borders. But as you are of the same opinion, you wouldn't see it as such.

Hussein Obama is just his name. There is no arguing that fact.

"Scummy clan", well that is indeed an opinion and maybe even hateful. Only the OP would know. And yes you are right that some people will see that and close it and have no interest in his pictures.

I am no fan of Obama or the record debt he's putting us in currently, or the record taxes we will all be paying in the next years, nor am I a fan of the Kennedys and most other Dems.... but there are limits to what I find mature... and this is right on the border. Enough to close the window.
