>>>>> Challenge 102 - Curved Perspective Lines <<<<<<

BTW Bruce - thanks for the map coords. I am looking for a dirt road visible through the branches. How do the spy satellites ever see anything?

It's grass, just a bit bare under the trees, it's not a road. The satellite photo was taken in high summer when the avenue is dense and only a narrow gap. My old Flickr shot taken in mid May shows it at its best before the foliage gets too dense...

I thought I'd just let you know. LOL I was pretty happy to see all the dirt and now here where I live there is a nice blanket of snow again, although you can still see the ground under the pines, and some grass sticking through. We'll see how it looks tomorrow.

I'm still thinking of curves!

I don't mean to complain but it was just too cold and windy here yesterday and today to get out except to split some fire wood. I love my fireplace the heat penetrates my bones much better than that old heat pump especially when it gets below freezing. it is expect to be below freezing again tomorrow too.

I am trying to figure a way to include the fire place but the angle has not come to me :)

Oh! You must be suffering :-)

Get the feet up on an ottoman with a nice hot drink. If the ideas never come you won't mind either :-)

There ya go Richard! There's your way. Just sit down in a chair and put your feet up and follow the curve of your feet to the fireplace in the background hahaha! You never know...It might be a masterpiece, or not! HA! But your feet will be warm, just dont catch your socks on fire. lol

Thanks Brent I wasn't fishing for the idea but I does sound like a good one, to start I must first remove Mr. lap-glue, Freddy from lap so I can work on the lighting.

I tell you what, Milo never wants his photo taken until I am taking a photo of something else!! Marv had to keep removing Milo from the table this evening while I was trying to take a shot for the challenge. I don't know if the shot without the cat will make the final cut yet but I just did one of them with Milo and his big pestery self having to be IN the shot! See...............

I checked in with Charlie about a week or so ago. He says he's given up on the forum - "too many windbags." A gentle coaxing from me doesn't seem to have worked. He's sticking with his own blog, at least for now. I'd love to see him back here, certainly in the challenges if not on the whole forum. If you want to try nudging him, please do.

As for me, I've been horribly busy again: up at 6am, back home at 8pm. Ugh! Even today (Saturday) I need to work. But I had lots of fum this past Monday with our old friend David (Drummer). My two entries in X are from that day. Haven't had the camera out since :-((

you could not have posed milo better.

Well yes, I was going to try to include Freddy in the shot but, it may not happen. i have to move furniture, set up a try pod and set the self timer, get myself and freddy back in the chair....
this may be more difficult than I originally thought.

I was only going to use one of this footbridge but I couldn't decide which one I like best. I'll see what other curvy things I can find :-)
