I have used http://www.mypcmax.com couple of time and they have been good (195.00 per 512 MB card). If you do a search on them in Storage Forum you should be able to get some info on them.

The special thing about Ridata is that although the card is 20X(read speed) they have one of the fastest write speeds (write is what is actually important).
Good luck.

Who's a low cost, trustworthy distributor in the US?

I ordered mine from Australia on a Friday afternoon and the cards were at my front door in upstate New York monday morning at 9:00AM ...

They have performed flawlessly and FAST. ;-)

I just got in the $190 version that mypcmax sells. They were the cheapest on pricewatch.com. No complaints.

I do hae a question about the card I ended up with vs. the Ridata. Basically I was just trying to save $5. Now in retrospect, probably shouldn't have.

I shot some Tiffs this afternoon with the 512 card. It was supposed to be comparable to the ridata. It took some 25-30 secs to write the image to the CF. Is this about right? RAW (no compression) took about 7 secs.

Is this about what other people are getting with their 20x CF cards?

Thanks!
Drew
