Hello!

I love this site. It helped me in deciding for my camera. i then got the Canon XS, along with 18-55IS and 75-300. Here are some NEWBIE pictures. Thanks for any comment.

I like #1 and #4. I think the candle pic would look better if the candle was more toward the bottom of the frame and maybe a little off center.

I have to agree that #2 is beautifly done. Very charming in all the best ways.
 
I like the second one. The first one would be nice with a different crop. The moon shots are too blurry.

That's why I love this site.

I know that most Canon had MLU and no, I did not use MLU, because I could'nt find it on mine. Then I sat down, went to each menu and found it in Custom... what the ???? That far. Anyway. I have to wait for the moon to be nice again and try it. Thanks a lot!!!

Thanks for all comments. It helped me a lot!

Today we had a perfect clear sky here. So I decided to try the moon. It did not came right AGAIN , not sharp enough. Took around 100 pictures of different settings. I think it has to do with my lens. This time I was aware (thanks to DP) that I have to use MLU, and also that sunlight is the WB. Plus, I used a remote control...
