Our friends from Topaz Labs asked the Flickr group ( http://www.flickr.com/groups/topaz/ ) to create a poll regarding the new interface look . Fort those in the group, please vote there, those who have Flickr accounts please joing us and vote... and I want to invite people here too. Please answer which interface you prefer.

The first one is using the Vista default colors while the second uses a lightroom-like scheme.
Please vote which one is your favorite so I can send the results to them.

Personally ... while I typically like the black color for overall looks I find that the black background can often adversely affect the choices I make while adjusting the various parameters. It's the old viewing an object on a white background versus a black background effect ... it can affect your perception in some weird ways.

In Photoshop I do most of my adjusting with a grey (neutral) background and will switch to the black background primarily to view the final results.

YMMV

... but that black background sure looks good! 8^)

dark background is richer looking. But as Gordon pointed out, it can mutz up the way things seem to appear.... lighter background also makes text easier to read.
So, I vote lighter background.

I agree... It's always nice to have a darker background behind your images. Easier on the eyes I think and makes the colors pop.

Vote for the dark.

prefer the light one. would like best neutral grey
