*** CTF Mini-Challenge 209 - BARNS - Continuation ...

You must have had a lot of fun driving around taking pictures of these great barns! They are beautiful indeed and I liked your whole album...Long ago I did see that Hancock Village round barn pictured on the Wikipedia site - somewhere in my house there must be Kodachrome slides of it!

I didn't get much time or the right weather to get out there and take many barn pictures but will show these for fun even if it's too late to enter!
  1. 1 - Got Milk? I just took this pic yesterday and I'm not really happy with it but I love this barn and will go back to take another pic someday..

  1. 2 - Black and White

...I like the lighting on the first one with the setting sun in the background. It takes me back to my younger years growing up in the Finger Lakes area of upstate New York. The country side was filled with dairy farms. A beautiful place.

The second photo is one of the largest barns I have ever seen and such a nice b&w with a lot of character.

And that tiny last barn.... very cute.

I found the second barn intriguing and wonder if there is a larger copy of it anyplace. I get the feeling that the windows might not have been there at first and even wondered if it had been converted to a house.

Nice ones Gail and the second one is my favorite.

LOL 'Got milk' is what we all say, the farmers. :)

Great shots Gail. #3 took me back to when our kids were little - I can still hear the cows 'Moo-ing' when the barn doors open...
