I believe panasonic will find problems selling TZ7 at $ 399, when TZ5 sell at $ 179
Many people will choose TZ5
especillay if the TZ7 did not Improve the Image Quality significantly

Figures - I just ordered a blue one from Walmart for $238! but I'm guessing Costco doesn't carry the Blue one tho ;) and I'm not a costco member, although could use my brothers account... hmmmm guess there's always gonna be a better deal somewhere!

hmmm - they were avail for like $269 with a sd card and a bag on Costco, when I looked last week they weren't listed....wonder what that means...? maybe they're just out of stock at the 'online warehouse'....

I recceived my Costco coupon today in the mail.
I know my local Costco has them in stock.

I purchased my TZ5 in Dec. so I will ask Costco to make a price adjustment on Feb. 9th or I can return it and re purchase a new one.
 
Costco raised the price on the TZ5 to $269.99 this week. Last week it was $249.99.

I check with them about the $70.00 coupon and they said I have to return the camera and repurchase it. Which I will do.
My net cost will be $199.99 which includes the case and a 1gb card.
Still a pretty decent price.
They also raised the price of the FZ28 to $349.99.
 
Just got an email. The price is $199, no coupon needed, at least online. I got my TZ5 on ebay a few months ago for $196 so I don't feel so bad.
 
The TZ5 at the Costco's in the Chicago area has been $269.00. The camera was on sale for $249 a few weeks ago. Costco here did not raise their price before the sale. I have been watching the camera price since before Christmas and except for when it has been on sale, the price has always been $269.00. Maybe the price was different in a different market.

I bought the TZ5 yesterday for $199 and I'm really excited about it. I bought one a few weeks ago when it was on sale for $249, but I'm returning that this weekend. $50 + tax is a great savings.
