Best slide show program?

I doubt it is the best, but you can't beat the price of faststone image viewer. Does a good job for me.

I agree, give ProShow Producer a try, it is really very good
are very hard to beat. They have enough features to let you get very
creative, or you can keep everything very simple and quick.
You can also do a trial download.

I know it has lots of style...assume I have 500 pics and I want ProShow to randomly apply a style (any style) to these pics...how can I do that ?.

TIA,

John

On a Mac, IPhoto more impressive than those yet mentioned ,and I would not recommend any so far, demos and transitions far to harsh relative to IPhoto which is not professional . Please can somebody give links to great examples that work ,that means no download necessary to view !.

something that produces great slideshows to put onto DVDs that he can give to clients. On the PC side, either ProShow Gold or ProShow Producer will do just that (and much, much more).

As for a MAC program that will provide downloadable shows without using a downloadable player, you might make that the subject of a new thread either here or in the MAC forum. One possibility is a program that will produce Flash output, as ProShow Producer will if you so desire, (but of course, that also requires a player -- although a player that many people will have already installed on their computer).

Proshow Gold. Fabulous program. New version 4.0 just released. You can intermingle video clips along with stills.

Life is what happens while you're making other plans

I love it, I can put my photos there as well as any videos that I shoot. With the 5DMKII they play very nicely on ProShow. you can get it to autostart when the DVD is inserted in a player.

Nice thing about ProShow is you can download it and try it, if you like it buy the key to get rid of the watermark.

I wanted to make sure that the DVD would play like I wanted it to when inserted into a DVD player and that it would loop. I had bought a 32"LCD TV with built in dvd player, it was great. Also, the newest version has the ability to burn either a regular DVD or even a BlueRay DVD. It has the option to have about 10 different types of outputs, even will format the output to run on YouTube!

Also, when I have had some issues or questions and called their tech support line, I got a real person right away that was able to help me with my problem.

no regrets with them!
