I hope everyone enjoyed the theme, there was a lot of very creative interpretations, which is good- certainly a good few that surprised and delighted me, so thanks to everyone who joined in.

OK, now the hard bit, you have to vote - even if you didn't join in this time around (shame on you!) you are still invited to take some time to examine the images and cast your vote. Don't forget to use the slide show and remember that the thumbnails don't always do an image justice.

You have 16 points (votes) to give out among all the photos.

You must give one photo 4 points. You may then give the remaining 12 points (votes to the others as you like) PLEASE vote and do this with both galleries!
You can do this right now and all this will end Wed 7th Jan 9PM GMT.

I've kept up with the competition but I have to admit have had no time over the last few days to look through the Exhibition, so I'll leave that for the morning so I can have a good look first

I wish I would have had better entries in the comp gallery. I really did understand what you were going for and I sorta never made it materialize into a photo. Sure loved a lot of the entries though!

We had such crumby weather here, hopefully this next challenge will find me a bit more creative. ;o) Nice job moderating Colin, thanks as always!

I'm sure you're already in bed or you've already gone to stand in line with the hordes of people. First remember 30* is NOT cold!! (we're all chuckling at the moaning about the weather there when here that temp would be reason to wear shorts lol). Second, if you see Laura Pipken give her and her mom a big hug from me please. (I don't know how you will find them or recognize them so just hug all the ladies there). Third, just have the best time of your life because my friend you are going to be in the middle of the greatest day in our history during our lifetimes. Your grandkids will be reading about tomorrow and you can say "your grandpa was there kiddies!!" :o)

You pictures are fine. There are times when we are not just satisfied with the results of our pictures.

BTW, the cat "No Mercy" not sure if you read my response but the is the same cat that was hanging on the chair some months back. Her name is Dinky.

I mean if you are going to be with the crowd. This image will definitely be in the history books and as Shirley said, you can then show your grand kids where you were on 1/20/09. Have fun.

...on?

Yesterday I lived some comments in competition, to Shirley's dove, Geophoto's and some others pictures.

I'm sure comments was there because I checked them if they are correctly written.
Today comments aren't there.
Could be possible some one deleted them?
Voted in both galleries.

I think there are some great entries and all the photos were wonderful. I like the unique perspective each member has for each theme.

Great job everyone.

Holy cow, nothing to dinky about Dinky now! Well, she grew up to be one beautiful girl, that's for sure! She had a pretty face from the time she was hanging from that chair and she still has it.

Do you ever put photos of Dinky in the cat thread? If you have I'm very sorry I missed them.
