5D II review?

So where is the full review of the 5D II from this site? I've read reviews on a couple other sites, but nothing on dpreview so far (after the preview). I find this site's reviews to be excellent, so I've been waiting with great anticipation... seems like an important new camera from one of the industry leaders would be a priority at this site, and a month or two in the global internet economy is a long time.

dpreview only provides timely reviews for Nikon equipment. We'll just have to wait for the Canon review.
 
dpreview is spending its time writing subliminal bad review about 5D Mark II so it will be a while.
 
The 5DmkII preview has nearly 5 month ago. I also think it is late for a in-depth review.

I don't know why...but some other camera are affected....like the panasonic G1...

I'm sure that dpreview will take your question into consideration for all of two seconds, and then, after rolling their eyes, will get back to whatever they're doing that really matters.
 
and it's worth repeating in new threads again and again. I might just start a new thread myself with the same topic. Really, it's about time. I already have my 5DII but would still like to read a review on the site that calls itself DPreview.

. . . . . Why would you do that after they've already stated that they're currently working on it? I've been impatiently waiting for the 5D2 review myself but now that I know that it's on the way, I'm happy enough to just wait and see if it's published in the next several days which won't be too long.

 
Well....okay. I'll wait until next Friday, and if it doesn't show up, I swear I'm posting a new thread with the title: So, Where's the 5DII review? ...And I mean it. ;-)

I'm not waiting for it anymore, as it gets boring reading yet another review. I ordered a 5D Mark II already. I'm not going to read more reviews.
 
well... I'm fairly sure they got other things to do, but i find it surprising as well!

I mean, they got a couple of people working this site on a full time job, don't they? That being the case, I have to admit, that it is about time for the review to come out! As posted earlier, 2 months are quite a long time in this industry. DPReview is the most famous site, in my and many other people's eyes. All the magazines here have had their reviews of the camera, plenty of other sites did quite a while ago, so it is kind of disappointing that it hasn't arrived yet.

that said, I am quite certain they're working it, but I don't see what is holding them!

Oh, wait, that's not the 5D-II. It's a camera announced a week after the 5D-II. I guess they just skipped over the 5D-II since it's not a very popular camera.
