L1 and Konica 50mm/1.7 at f/8, 3 variations C&C

These were taken with the Konica Hexanon 50mm, this time I am positive. Same shot at f/8 at 1/80 second.

Strange the max aperture in the exif changes with aperture selected.

I focused on the eye.

My coloured choice would be 1

b&w 3

I rather like the colour best i think..my favourite cat colour is what we call tortishell ..I presume this it has this colouring all ever the body?
Middle un is a bit flat
the eye is perhaps brightest on 3?

Ditto on all accounts. Funny how we picked number one as our favourite colour one.

I think they call them calico cats here in the US, but I refuse to learn the lingo on principal.

opposite..and in my experience a cat type of great character and spine.

No longer do I keep em..they belong in Urban area's with all you domesticated types!!!

ha..I subscribe to a wee English site 'phrase of the week'..or something like that..once a week a plain email comes in once a week (amazing)

It is run by a chap by the surname Martin..he was in another life a sound engineer for 1970s Brit bands..I think EL&P were one..

Anyway its quite amazing the number of phrases which emanate from da USA..often they are re-jigged version's of the old worlds take..but none the less its a fun email to receive...

As a Martin myself I shall appreciate it. By the way I just released a CD on the Martin Family and Australia and New Zealand are where most of my sales have been.

This is what happens with cats on a farm. This one is half cat and half rooster, meow a doodle doo!

I do prefer #1, that left eye look very sharp, please try diferet backgrounds, completely wide open? just to see how does that lens handle with bokeh.

That will come, but I wanted the screen reasonably recognizable and I was seeing if it was possible to manually focus without changing aperture.
